My lotus wire mesh front basket broke yesterday when I had 10 pounds in it. I am bummed cuz I like to use it for shopping...bread, milk, etc......found your site cuz checking out bike baskets.Just thought I'ld pass along my experience. I guess this basket is only good for looking cool and some flowers or newspaper etc...Thanks for the cool site.
